When Paulus comes back from university he knows about Thebedi`s rambleed marriage with Njabulo and her baby. Paulus goes but into Njabulo`s family line where the newborn daugther is and the following day the sister is found dead.

In my opinion this story has a bewitching theme to work in class because it deals with racial segregation. Thebedi and Paulus` relationship is considered illegal in apartheid South Africa where blacks cannot have contact with whites. Consequently, they hatch from society.
